Tottenham are considering a move for Switzerland goalkeeper Eldin Jakupovic, according to the Daily Mail.
Speculation over the future of Jakupovic has grown recently after his club Olympiakos Volos was relegated to Greeces amateur league for their part in a match-fixing scandal
Initially, Volos thought they had been reprieved and were shocked to learn they had been condemned to the Delta Ethniki - meaning all their players are now available for free transfers.
Jakupovic was linked with Everton and Newcastle in the summer but Spurs are now understood to be leading the chase for the highly-rated stopper.
In 2009, the 26-year-old had trials with Tottenham as a Lokomotiv Moscow player but the clubs failed to agree a fee.
Tottenham are scouring the market for a replacement for Heurelho Gomes, who has grown frustrated after losing his number one spot to Brad Friedel.
