Dutch Recall Stekelenburg

Holland coach Bert van Marwijk has recalled goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg to the squad for the friendly against England at Wembley next month.

The Ajax stopper was forced to miss the double-header against Brazil and Uruguay in June with a thumb injury.

Stekelenburg has now recovered and will regain his spot as the first choice 'keeper, while Tim Krul and Michel Vorm will provide the back up.

Newcastle's Krul retains his place in the squad after his impressive debut against Brazil last month at the expense of NEC Nijmegen's Jasper Cillessen.

Marwijk has also recalled AC Milan's Mark van Bommel and Tottenham's Rafael van der Vaart following their recoveries from injury.

However, Spartak Moscow midfielder Demy de Zeeuw, was left out of the 26-man squad who after he pulled out of the South American tour at the last minute citing fatigue.
