Juventus are weighing up the merits of a winter bid for Benfica's out-of-favour left-back Joan Capdevila, Tuttosport claims.
The current Serie A leaders are understood to be scouring the market for a left-sided defender after shipping Reto Ziegler out to Fenerbahce on loan.
Capdevila has grown unsettled at his lack of playing time after joining Benfica in the summer on a free transfer from Villarreal.
The 33-year-old has not been included in Benfica's 25-man squad for the Champions League, with coach Jorge Jesus making no secret the Spaniard falls behind Emerson in the pecking order.
Juventus are reportedly monitoring Capdevila's situation very closely and could soon engage in talks with Benfica with a view to signing the World Cup winner for the second half of the season.
