Mega-rich PSG is trying to sign Raul from Schalke, dashing the hopes of Blackburn and other Premier League teams hoping to lure the legend to England.
talkSPORT this week revealed how Raul rejected the chance to move to Blackburn but Steve Kean is still trying to persuade him to move to England.
Meanwhile, Kean's interest in the Spaniard has sparked interest among several parties in the Premier League who is monitoring the situation.
But French side PSG are now also in the running as Schalke has indicated they are willing to sell.
Raul was left at home for Schalke's Europa League clash with Helsinki this week and he is open to a move away from Germany, but PSG's interest - and their considerable financial clout - could scupper Rovers' hopes of salvaging a deal.
